Ben arrived at Narita airport at 3.30 a.m. and was very tired!
He waited at the baggage carousel for his suitcase,
but was so tired he was finding it difficult to recognise which case was his;
luckily he had put a large label on the outside.
Ben took his case and headed for the train station.
He knew he still had a long journey before he could finally relax
in the comfort of his hotel room.
But despite feeling tired, he was also very excited to have arrived in Japan.
He was looking forward to an exciting adventure!

recogniseって間違いやすい発音なんですよ。

レコクナイズ？
どっち？
どっちも、正確ではないのです。

recogniseという単語は、
recordと発音し、次に
hugと、次に
niceと、次に
buzzと発音してください。
口にreco, g, ni, zzの感じが残っているうちに、reco-g/ni-zzと発音するとハイ、recogniseの出来上がりです。

Meaning
To recognise someone or something is to be familiar with it; to identify someone or something as preciously seen/heard/tasted etc.
Notes
Recognise is spelt recognize in North America. The pronunciation is the same regardless of spelling.

“I’m sure I recognise that girl. I think I met her at a party”
