to perspire surprisingly quickly; the weather was another thing which was very different in Tokyo!

Although he wanted to explore the city now, he decided the sensible thing to do would be to make his way to the hotel and have a few hours rest before morning.

Tomorrow was his first full day in Tokyo and he didn't want to feel exhausted.
Ben got into a taxi, asked the driver to take him to his hotel,
and arrived just as the sun was starting to rise.

while “________ED” can be used to talk about how something makes someone feel.
For example, “The movie was frightenING”/“I felt frighteneED”, or,
“I’m excitED about going to Hawaii”/”Going to Hawaii was excitING”.

As you’re probably already aware, bacon is thinly sliced pork, which is usually
cooked by frying.

Notes
Bacon may seem like a simple word to pronounce; however, some people make
the mistake of pronouncing the “ba” of “bacon” in the same way they’d
pronounce “banana”. The “ba” of “banana”, is pronounced in the same way as
in “bad” (the following 2 “na” sounds are pronounced in the same way as in “natural”).

Bacon is often eaten in a sandwich along with lettuce and tomato. This sandwich is
known as a “B.L.T”; Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato. A slice of bacon is often called
a “rasher of bacon”.

“Bring home the bacon” is a phrase which means to “earn a living” or to provide
(money, food etc) for yourself and/or others;
e.g. “I’m the only one who has a job; I bring home the bacon!”.

Notes
For most everyday explanations, tired is more commonly used than fatigued.
In the passage above, Ben is described as being “fatigued and peckish”. Peckish is used to describe feeling slightly hungry.
Fatigue can also be used to explain how someone has become bored of something due to overexposure; e.g. “After a day of looking around shops with my girlfriend, I was suffering from shopping fatigue!”

“He’s been studying so hard. I think he’s feeling a little fatigued”

serviceと発音し、次に

kindと、次に

bullと発音してください。

口にser, k, ullの感じが残っているうちに、ser-k-ullと発音すると
ハイ、circleの出来上がりです。

Meaning
The word circle is used to describe a round shape. The phrase “walking around in circles” doesn’t literally mean to walk in circles, but to walk around with a destination in mind and be unable to find that destination. It also gives the idea that the person may have got no closer to their desired location despite walking.

“Circle” can also be used to describe a group, of for example, friends (“a circle of friends”) or people who are interested in a particular hobby or activity. It’s also used to describe the action of encircling something. For example, in an exam you may be asked to “circle the correct answer”, which means to draw a circle around the answer you think is right

Notes
The phrase “ended up” was also used prior to “walking around in circles”. To “end up” doing something means that someone planned to do one thing but the plan either changed or didn’t work out, so they “ended up” doing something else. So the sentence, “he ended up walking around in circles”, gives the idea that Ben was trying to find his way out of the station, but unfortunately he was unable to find his way out, and instead “walked around in circles”.

”I walked around in circles for an hour trying to find Takashimaya”
“Please circle the answer you think is correct”
